Kyle Richard Fisher (born February 10, 1981) is an American-born curler who represents Puerto Rico in international competition. He played third for the Puerto Rican men’s national team at the 2024 Pan Continental Curling Championships, held in Lacombe, Alberta, Canada, from October 27 to November 2, 2024. The team finished with a 3–7 record in the B Division, placing seventh out of ten teams.[1] This marked Puerto Rico’s first appearance at the Pan Continental Championships and the territory’s debut in a World Curling Federation-sanctioned event.
Curling career
Fisher began curling in 2017 and is a member of the Charlotte Curling Association in North Carolina.[2] He has been a key figure in developing curling for Puerto Rico, both as a player and a leader. He currently serves as Chair of the Athletes Commission for the Puerto Rican Curling Federation, where he advocates for athlete representation, helps lead strategic planning, and coordinates athlete development initiatives.[3]
In 2025, Fisher is organizing Puerto Rico’s first high-performance curling training camp in Charlotte. The camp will include scrimmages, clinics, and strategy sessions for national-level athletes and prospects.[4]

Fisher is eligible to represent Puerto Rico through his grandmother, Ana Pancorbo Gillis, who was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico.
Club affiliation
Fisher is a longtime member of the Charlotte Curling Association, a club that has become an unofficial training base for Puerto Rican curlers residing in the continental United States. The club provides access to ice time, coaching, and facilities for athletes representing Puerto Rico internationally.
Leadership and development work
As Chair of the Puerto Rican Curling Federation’s Athletes Commission, Fisher plays a central role in building sustainable curling infrastructure for Puerto Rico. His responsibilities include athlete recruitment, program design, and coordination with the World Curling Federation.[5]
Personal life
Fisher lives in Charlotte, North Carolina with his wife, Laura, and their two children, Olivia and Ellis. Outside of curling, he works in commercial sales as Director of Sales for Elite Touch Cleaning.[6] He is active in curling media, coaching development, and grassroots advocacy. His hobbies include golf, travel, and curling-related content creation.
Fisher continues to serve as both an athlete and leader for Puerto Rico’s curling program, with long-term goals of qualifying the team for World Curling Championships and Olympic qualification events.
