Kyle Jansen (born February 23, 2006) is a South African U17 National Team soccer player who plays as a goalkeeper in the USA for MLS Next academy club Atlanta United.[1][2]
Club career
Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, Jansen played club soccer with North Atlanta Soccer Association before joining the Atlanta United academy's under-12 side. Jansen progressed through the academy where he now plays for the u17 MLS Next,[3] u19 UPSL[4] and was also rostered for the club's USL Championship[5] side Atlanta United 2.[6]
International career
On April 18, 2023, Jansen was named in the 21-man South Africa national under-17 football team[7] that competed in the 2023 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations[8][9] in Algeria. He made his international debut on April 30, 2023 against Morocco.[10]
