Kyrese Rowan (born January 25, 2001) is an American professional football wide receiver for the Denver Broncos. He played college football for the Utah Utes and Utah State Aggies. He was signed by the Broncos as an undrafted free agent in 2025.
Early life
Rowan was born in Ogden, Utah and attended high school at Roy High School. From the age of six, he was raised by his stepfather, Utah State Hall of Fame running back Emmett White, whose last name he wore on his jersey during his junior and senior year of college.[1]
College Career
Rowan began his college career at Utah after walking on in the Fall of 2019.[2] He played at Utah for three years, entirely on special teams. He transferred to Utah State in 2022.[3] He played sparingly until his senior season, where he recorded 526 receiving yards and 188 kick return yards.[4]
Professional career
Rowan signed with the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent following their rookie minicamp.[5] Rowan was waived by the Broncos during final roster cuts on August 25, 2025.[6] He was signed to the Broncos practice squad on October 22, 2025.[7]
On December 2, 2025, he was released from the practice squad to make room for Elijah Moore.[8] He was re-signed to the practice squad on December 9, 2025.[9]
