Kyro (Persian: کایرو) is a Persian given name, and it is a variant of the name Cyrus, meaning lord or king. Kyro[1] also originates from the Greek word kyrios, meaning lord, master, or god. Kyrios appears several times in the New Testament, usually referring to Jesus. Kyro is a masculine name; its popularity has been increasing recently (as of 2019).[2]
