Kyun Uthhe Dil Chhod Aaye is an Indian Hindi-language romantic period drama that premiered on 25 January 2021 on Sony SET. The show is produced by Shashi Mittal and Sumeet Mittal under the banner Shashi Sumeet Productions Pvt. Ltd.[1] It starred Gracy Goswami, Aanchal Sahu, Pranali Rathod, Zaan Khan, Shagun Pandey, Yash Tonk and Kunal Jaisingh in prominent roles. The show ended on 20 August 2021 completing 150 episodes after a 8 month long stint.[2]
Premise[edit]
The show is set in pre-independent India and is set in Lahore of 1947. Amrit, Vashma and Radha are three women who live in Lahore at a time when India is on the cusp of gaining independence. They hope to achieve their dreams and find success in their love lives

Actresses Gracy Goswami, Aanchal Sahu and Pranali Rathod were casted to play the female leads while Zaan Khan, Shagun Pandey and Yash Tonk were paired opposite them.
Actors like Avtar Gill, Nasir Khan, Ashish Kaul, Geeta Tyagi, Vaishnavi Macdonald and many others were casted in pivotal roles.
In March 2021, Kunal Jaisingh was casted to play a very pivotal role.
