L'Agence
L'Agence founded in 2008 by Jeffrey Rudes, who currently serves as chairman and Creative Director, L'Agence is a Los Angeles-based fashion label best known for its line of denim, along with outerwear, swimwear,[1] shoes and accessories. Beginning with one location on Melrose Place in Los Angeles[2] for its first decade,[3] the company has since launched flagship locations in New York City in 2018, Beverly Hills and Malibu in 2023,[3] Paris and Seoul,[4] as well as stores in Newport Beach and Houston.[5] Under Fashion Director Tara Rudes Dann, L’Agence is carried in stores worldwide, including Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus and Revolve.[6]
On top of its line of denim, L'Agence has converted its original Melrose location to a store that exclusively sells jeans.[4] Additionally, L'Agence CEO Jonny Saven is co-founder and Lead Advisor for the Denim Institute and Museum, a non-profit dedicated to preserving denim culture via exhibits, classes and training.[7]
In 2026, L'Agence entered into a partnership with Google to utilize the tech company's virtual try-on technology, via Gemini, at New York Fashion Week.[8]
