L.A. Insurance is an insurance company founded in 1992, and encompasses most of the Western United States. It is known for its 7-day car insurance[1] policies that cancel after 13 days. As of 2009, it operates approximately 98 branches.[citation needed]
In 2018, the Insurance Commissioner forced L.A. Insurance to stop their selling of short term car insurance.[2]
History[edit]
L.A. Insurance began in a small store front in Michigan in 1992, Anthony Yousif, Sr. The primary purpose was to create a niche for families who were migrating to the area.[citation needed]
In 1996, it was the first to establish a franchise division, and in October 2003, it opened up its one-hundredth branch located in Las Vegas, Nevada.[citation needed]
