LIV Swiss Watches is a microbrand startup that designs specialty timepieces and one of the first direct-to-consumer Swiss watches.[1][2] LIV was started in 2012 by Esti Chazanow in Miami, Florida.[1][2][3] The company launched its first model, the GX1 Swiss Chrono, in 2014 via the online crowdfunding platform Kickstarter.[1][4] LIV went on to become the most crowdfunded Swiss watch startup to ever use the platform.[2]
