Leroy Fakoya-Oluwayomi (born 18 April 1990), known professionally as LM Bankz, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, executive producer, model, and businessman.
Early Life and Education
LM Bankz was born as Leroy Fakoya-Oluwayomi on 18 April 1990 in Lagos, Nigeria. His father’s name is Adetokunbo Fakoya-Oluwayomi. LM Bankz received his education in the United Kingdom. During his early years of education, he attended several primary schools, including Mulgrave Primary School, St Alfege Primary School, and Bluemindale School. For his secondary education, he attended Model College Igbodgo, Ikorodu and Babcock Secondary School. After completing his secondary education, LM Bankz pursued his GCSE level studies at Hackney Community College. He then continued his education journey at London Southbank University, where he pursued higher education studies.
LM Bankz finds inspiration from a diverse range of musical influences, such as Fela Anikulapo Kuti, King Sunny Ade, Wasiu Ayinde, Oliver de Coque, Zaaki Azzay, Asa, Michael Jackson, JayZ, Nas, Notorious BIG, Tupac, Eminem, Lil Wayne, 50 Cent, Giggs, Kano, J Hus, La Roux, Dua Lipa, and The Beatles.
Music Career
In 2015, LM Bankz released his debut song titled "Omoge," followed by "Malinga" in June 2016 and "DAB" in 2017.
