Lady Sushil Ramgoolam SSS
Lady Sushil Ramgoolam State Secondary School is a secondary girls' school located in Triolet, Mauritius. This high school was named after the late Prime Minister's wife, Lady Sushil Ramgoolam. It was inaugurated on 28 April 1982 and was mixed-gender at first. Lady Sushil Ramgoolam SSS is among the best secondary schools in the North Region and at the national level, preparing its students for the Higher School Certificate and School Certificate examinations. It focuses on cutting-edge ways to motivate its students and aims for excellent results. Lady Sushil Ramgoolam SSS has produced three laureates in Arts (Girls) since its inception and multiple high-ranking students in a panoply of subjects.
List of Laureates :
1. Priyadarshini Soobhug was the first laureate of this institution, placing first in the Arts (Girls) State Scholarship scheme for the 2012 HSC Examinations.
2. Vandana Bhotooa was proclaimed as an additional laureate in Arts (Girls), selected on merit and social criteria for the 2016 HSC Examinations.
3. Sidarshinee Jeetun became the second student to win a State Scholarship at the Higher School Certificate, placing first in Arts (Girls) for the 2017 HSC Examinations.
