Laith Abu Joda (Arabic: ليث ابوجودة) (born on November 9, 1994) is a Palestinian singer, composer, songwriter and oud player from Ramallah. Laith's upbringing was full of Music and Art, as he grew his passion for music grew. Laith rose to popularity as a contestant during the 10th season of Star Academy Arab World. Laith has made his first career debut with the song "Allah Ysamehna" (Arabic: الله يسامحنا) written and composed by the Lebanese Songwriter, composer, and Artist Karina Eid. The song was such a hit as it was a very emotional song, it has more the 1,000,000 views on YouTube. Laith has also released other songs such as "Habibi Yalla" (Arabic: حبيبي يلا) and Stour Meterka (Arabic: سطور محترة).
Star Academy 10[edit]
Laith competed in the 10th season of Star Academy Arab World. He had a huge amount of fans and used to receive a vast variety of gifts from his beloved fans each week. Laith was able to win Top 1 on the third week due to his superb performances. Laith was also able to win the title of "Mr Star Academy" due to his funny personality, and charming looks. Laith was nominated twice in a row during the contest, the first nomination was during the 9th week as he got back into the competition thanks to the votes of the public. Later on he was nominated the week after (10th week), however he lost the public vote to his colleague and fellow Kuwaiti contestant Abdel Salam Zayed.
