Lakshmi Baramma S02 is a Kannada serial that airs on Colors Kannada from Monday to Saturday at 7:30 pm. The show is an extended version of Bhagyalakshmi, which airs from Monday to Saturday at 7:00 pm.

Plot

Lakshmi, also known as Laddu, is an innocent girl. She was an orphan and was raised by her cousin sister Bhagya, to whom she refers as Akkamma. She also had an evil aunt and her daughter, Pooja. However, she had a good bond with her uncle Vittal Murthy, who treats Lakshmi as his own daughter. Bhagya had a long-lasting dream to find Lakshmi a good groom. Whereas Kaveri, who had a bitter past with her mother-in-law, worries about her future with her coming daughter-in-law. Kaveri's son Vaishnav is a RockStar in Bangalore who is in love with Keerthy, a modern and high-class, stubborn girl, as well as Vaishnav's dance partner. Kaveri's elder sister Kusuma is the mother-in-law of Bhagya. Kaveri, after learning about her son's love life, manipulates Keerthy and arranges Vaishnav's marriage with Lakshmi. Upset by the breakup with Keerthy, Vaishnav breaks down at Lakshmi on the wedding day. Vaishnav's paternal aunt Supreetha, who awaits to see Kaveri's downfall, enrages him. Shattered, Lakshmi leaves the mandap, writing a letter to her Akkamma. But somehow Kusuma manages the situation, and the marriage happens without any disturbances. All the family members try to flourish the love between the couple. As time passes, Vaishnav understands Lakshmi's kind heart and starts loving her, forgetting Keerthy.

Now Keerthy, who is disturbed by all these incidents, blackmails Kaveri using her past voice recordings. Kaveri, with no other option, creates disturbances between her son and daughter-in-law in order to maintain a good relationship with her son. Also, Supreetha, who was against Lakshmi, now turns good because of her kind nature and tries to protect Lakshmi in all ways. Now, what plans will Keerthy make to regain her love? Will Lakshmi withstand all the problems and be happy with her husband and family? This is the crux of the story.
