The Lalita Mahatmya or Lalita Mahatmyam (Sanskrit: ललिता माहात्म्य, romanized: lalitāmāhātmya, lit. 'Glory of the Goddess Lalita') is a Hindu philosophical text that describes Goddess Tripura Sundari or Adi Parashakti as the supreme energy and creator of the universe. This is a part of Uttara Khanda of Brahmanda Purana.
Lalita Mahatmyam is also known as Lalitopakhyana (ललितोपाख्यान). Consisting of 32 chapters, this text has 2743 verses. In the Lalita Mahatmyam, it is described how the goddess Tripura Sundari fought with the asura called Bhandasura and established the Dharma.
