Lamont White

Lamont White is an American sports figure who played professional football.

He has worked to help student athletes graduate, managed athletic programs, and has recruited and developed sports talent at high school, college, and arena levels, as well as professional training programs. He has worked in athletics, motivational speaking, and student affairs.

Career[edit]

Football[edit]

White started out, playing for Westchester Community College of Westchester, New York. While there, White was a 2 time All American. He then transferred to Central State College. He played for the Calgary Stampeders while in the Canadian Football League (CFL). White was in Arena Football and played for the Bizmark Blaze. He then played in the Regional Football League for the Ohio Cannons. Later, White again played Arena Football for Fort Wayne Freedom. White worked out with the Dallas Cowboys, the New England Patriots, and the Cincinnati Bengals. He was eventually signed by the Minnesota Vikings.[when?]

White decided to expand on his professional career in sports and had gone into coaching after his football career.

Hazleton Boxing Club & Other Services[edit]

White was a conditioning coach for the Hazleton Boxing Club in Hazleton, Pennsylvania and has been interviewed on channel 13, SSPTV, the Sam Lesante Show.[3][4] He visits elementary and middle school children to speak about key principles for success, bullying, and making good choices in life. His most recent visit was at Maple Manor in Hazleton, Pennsylvania.[4] White has visited many other schools as well, such as the Orange High School in Orange, NJ along with various high schools throughout NY. He's worked for numerous charitable causes as well.
