x.
Lanthanum dihydride and trihydride
Lanthanum dihydride (LaH
2) and lanthanum trihydride (LaH
3) are the two endpoints of a continuum of non-stoichiometric compounds.[1]
Higher lanthanum hydrides
Various polyhydrides of lanthanum can be formed at high pressures. In particular, lanthanum decahydride exhibits superconducting properties below 250 K (−23 °C; −10 °F) at 170 GPa.[2]
