Lark & Berry

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Lark & Berry (established in 2018) is a London based luxury jewelry brand specializing in cultured diamonds and gemstones.[1][2]

History[edit]

Inspired by the film Blood Diamond Laura Chavez founded Lark & Berry in 2018 shortly after completing her MBA at London Business School. During her final semesters at London Business School, Chavez took a history of jewelry course, where she learned about lab-grown diamonds.[3][4][5]

The brand name Lark & Berry was coined by Chavez after her favorite bird the "Lark," and the "Berry" represents her special connection to her grandmother, who owned a pendant resembling a berry.[6][7]

Awards and recognition[edit]

In February 2019, Lark & Berry won the GRAFF Jewelry Award at the Goldsmiths' Craft and Design Council's Craftsmanship & Design Awards, often referred to as the "Oscars of Jewelry."[8] It also won JCK Las Vegas and Luxury Design Awards in the category of established designer brands.[9]
