Career
Larry Babbio is the Afiniti CEO and chair of the board. Before taking on this leadership role in 2021, he worked as the vice chairman and president of Verizon, where he was responsible for their telecom division. He also provided his expertise as a member of the board for Verizon Wireless. A graduate of Stevens Institute of Technology with a degree in engineering, Babbio has always remained involved in telecom and technology throughout his career. Multiple board of director appointments have allowed him to share his insights with organizations across the country including Aramark, Compaq Computer Corporation, and Hewlett-Packard Company. He remains an active member of the board of directors for Canara, Inc., a technology company working in the space of power systems infrastructure. Babbio continues to remain active with his old university by serving on the board for the Hoboken, New Jersey-based educational institution. He also holds an MBA from New York University and has supported the New York community as a director on the board of the Wallace Foundation from 2006–2018.
