Laser Vision is an independent record label in Bangladesh.[1]

Artists[edit]

Laser Vision has released recordings by Pritom Ahmed, Kanak Chapa, Samina Chowdhury, Priyanka Gope, Belal Khan, Hridoy Khan, Rakib Mosabbir, Fahmida Nabi, Arfin Rumey, Kazi Shuvo, and Habib Wahid, among others.[1][2][3][4][5]

Most Laser Vision releases are adhunik (modern) songs, but they are also known for albums in the less profitable Rabindra Sangeet and Nazrul Sangeet genres, such as Nashid Kamal's 2008 album Biroher Gulbagey.[6] In 2014, they released Dia Chakravarty's A Bloom in Vain and Other Songs, an album of classic songs written by Rabindranath Tagore, Atulprasad Sen, Rajanikanta Sen, and Dwijendralal Ray.[7] They have released instrumental, folk, and folk fusion albums such as Reenat Fauzia's Haramanik in 2010,[8] and Shireen Jawad's Mathwali (2009) and Rangeela (2013).[9]

In the rock genre, Laser Vision released Shironamhin's fourth album, Shironamhin Rabindranath in 2010,[3] and Vikings' album Runout in 2014.[5]
