Early Life[edit]

Early Life. Laudez Rose studied Music at The Brit School for performing arts & Technology in Selhurst Croydon UK, & then furthered her musical training at Colins Performing arts college in Romford, Essex with a Diploma in Professional Music Theatre. She had studied Micheal Jackson & Fred Astaire, building up a unique style of her own when dancing. Career. Laudez Rose worked as a professional dancer in Musicals including Copacabana, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Fame, Jack The Ripper, Starlight Express as well as working in professional Panto. She danced on the Brit Awards as a backing dancer and appeared in One Directions Music video for their record "Midnight Memories". Laudez Rose had also worked as a backing artist for Robbie Williams on his Swing Both ways tour. Laudez Rose first worked in pop, producing and writing songs. She collaborated with The Next Room & worked with MC Neat on record "Ignite It" and Sunny Andrea (Peter Andre sister in law) on pop record "Goddess" Laudez Rose performed the records at Winter wonderland Hyde Park and went live on BBC Radio Kent. Both songs were a success. Laudez Rose devised INDYA in early 2015 after leaving her musical theatre career. INDYA meaning "gorgeous person" promised a Glamorous, wild Rock band in which the singer plays alongside Guitarist Andy Basiola, Drummer Joel Day, and Bassist Josh De Mita. Laudez Rose was told she had a very good Rock voice and decided to form INDYA in an exciting bid to enter the Rock circuit all guns blazing. And that she did! Her first ever gig was supporting Noel Gallagher's high Flying Birds at Noels after show party at the O2 Liverpool. Noel had heard about Laudez Rose through the grapevine and he handpicked her amongst other bands to play for his party. She drove a bus with all her musicians from Brighton to Liverpool & back, getting stopped and breathalysed twice in one night by x2 sets of police vans. In the very beginning, Laudez Rose had to hire session musicians to play for her shows. Costing a fortune, she had to save her money to play gigs, only enabling her to play one show a month. She was limited in the first 3 years of her Rock career. It was a frustrating time, and it wasn't until 2018 that she found permanent band members (Joel Day, AndyBasiola, & Save Blackjack) In sept 2019 Save Blackjack (Bass) moved to china leaving Indya in limbo having no bass player. luckily she was put in touch with Josh De Mita who now plays bass for Indya. Indya has written every one of her records. A lot of the records were written on bus rides to college.Indya is now Working with producer Dave Needham of Darkhorse Recording Studios in Epsom Surrey. She formerly worked with producers James Loughrey, Dan Baune & The Next Room on various different projects. Having been influenced by Rock at a young age listening to bands such as Joan Jett Belinda Carlisle Jane Wiedlin Stevie Nicks Pat Benatar Cyndi Lauper Alannah Myles Prince Tiffany Kim Wilde Led Zeppelin Marilyn Manson Jimmy Hendrix Rory Gallagher Sister Nancy Etana Tanya Stephens Madonna Deep Purple, Laudez Rose has used her influences within her own suggestive music. The now "Goddess of Rock" Singer/ songwriter has arranged her music into a complete hypnotizing spectacle creating a unique Taboo Rock N Roll style with the heavy influence of Marilyn Manson. "An opiate dose of Glamour Rock n Roll" Intense trance inducing synths almost mystical with a spritz of haunting multi complex guitar rifts of Hendrix. Indya has a sui generis voice that definitely diagnoses a case of Indya with one listen! Not only has Indya got a incredible rare sound live, her live performance prowess is non other than wowza! Indya has this ability to own the stage & bewilder the crowd with her infusion of sexy shimmies & frolics on stage. Incorporating her Fred Astaire style. The bands chemistry oozes pure sex. Fans love them for their classy glam look but heavy sleazy sound and a cheeky splash of pop. "Gimme Ya Luv" is the first album from UK rock artist & songwriter INDYA (Laudez Rose). This album see's the divergent work of Indya's mismatched music alternating from Classic Rock to pop to Glammy Punk & metal. Not being able to make up her mind on a literal fashion, Indya has cached together her retinue of songs onto one dysfunctional album. Music is music. "My songs are designed to reduce pain, and it keeps you feeling younger" says Indya!
