Laura Giurcanu
Laura Giurcanu[1] is a Romanian model, influencer and vlogger born on 23rd December 1996 in Bucharest. She became a public figure for the Romanian people when she was discovered by Cătălin Botezatu on the “Next Top Model” Romanian TV show from "Antena 1" that she won. She is 180 cm tall and weighs about 60 kg; she is a vegetarian and has a following of almost half a million people on Instagram. Laura modeled for fashion magazines like Vogue, Elle and Cosmopolitan. She was also a contestant in the TV show “Survivor Romania” broadcasted on "PRO TV" in 2022 at 24 years old. When she was young, she practiced athletics for about seven years. Her vlogging career started in 2013 when she opened a Youtube channel. Now, Laura has 390,000 subscribers and her own podcast called “Seencer”.
Her sister is Bianca Giurcanu, who is a flight attendant but also very involved with the social media lifestyle. Laura's boyfriend is Cezar, a man who she got engaged to in 2019. The two of them are still together, even though she was publicly cheated on in 2021. They took a break and eventually she forgave him. She addressed this situation on her Instagram. On social media, Laura Giurcanu is one of the few influencers who keeps it real with her audience. She does not glamorize her life and always puts on display her struggles. She stopped using beauty filters on Instagram in order to stop contributing to these unhealthy, impossible-to-reach beauty standards.
