Lauren Halperin (born December 12, 1981) is an American actress. Halperin's recent work includes Stranger Things (Netflix), Kevin (Probably) Saves the World (ABC), House of Cards (Netflix), The Haunting of Hill House (Netflix) and 24: Legacy (Fox).
Early life[edit]
Halperin was born in Boston, Massachusetts and raised in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, where she knew from an early age that she was meant to perform. After spending years training in dance and gymnastics, Halperin attended the University of Central Florida where she graduated with a degree in Theatre and a double minor in Psychology and Criminal Justice. Upon graduation, she packed up her two-door Ford Focus with a few belongings (including her adorable puppy) and made the trip across country to Los Angeles.
Career[edit]
Since her arrival, Halperin has enjoyed working on a number of independent films, national commercials, network television shows, print ads, on-stage, and as a fit model for several companies including Forever 21, K-Swiss, and Urban Outfitters. Highly motivated, diverse, and energetic, Lauren is excited to pursue opportunities across a variety of genres.
In addition to acting, Halperin owns The Working Actor Group, an acting and self-tape studio located in Atlanta.
