Aaron Buchanan & The Cult Classics
Laurie Buchanan is an original member of Aaron Buchanan & The Cult Classics, which is to release a debut album, The Man With Stars On His Knees, on 26 May 2017. The rollout of the record was financed by a successful PledgeMusic campaign.[2] Sibling Aaron Buchanan worked with Laurie on the demos between 2011 and 2016 prior to solidifying the live outfit line-up, which also consists of Tom McCarthy (Guitar), Chris Guyatt (Bass), and Kev Hickman (Drums). Laurie is the only other member, bar Aaron Buchanan, of the "The Cult Classics" line-up to feature on The Man With Stars On His Knees album and is referenced as a key part in the production. She is often referred to by the band as "The Boss". Buchanan is a keen graphic designer and played a key part in critiquing the band logo and album cover art, the latter of which was produced by Sam Mayle.
