Lauryn Catherine Goodman is a British media personality and influencer..
Early life
Goodman grew up in Brighton, East Sussex. She is the sister of television personality Chloe Goodman, who appeared on the reality series Ex on the Beach.[1]
Career
Goodman has described herself as an influencer and has promoted fashion and lifestyle products on social media. She is the founder of the apparel line Nineteen London (also styled XIX London), which stated that a portion of sales would be donated to the charity Gingerbread.[2]
Television appearances
In 2024, Goodman joined the thirteenth series of E4’s Celebs Go Dating.[3]
She appeared on ITV’s This Morning in September 2024.[4]
In February 2020, the BBC’s programme schedule for Victoria Derbyshire recorded a segment for “influencer Lauryn Goodman” in what the listing described as her first broadcast interview.[5]

Benefit fraud
In 2016 Goodman was convicted of benefit fraud after admitting she failed to declare that her partner was living with her while she claimed housing and council tax support. She was sentenced to a community order and unpaid work.[6]
Family court proceedings
In July 2024, His Honour Judge Edward Hess delivered a public judgment in Schedule 1 proceedings concerning financial provision for Goodman’s children. The case was made public following a final transparency order, which the judge said was necessary because anonymity would be a "nonsense, opening the court to ridicule" given the publicity already surrounding the parties.[7] [8]
The judge found Goodman to be "not reliable", stated she had "often exaggerated her need to spend money" and accepted arguments that she had treated the father "as an open-ended cheque book". He concluded she was "overwhelmingly responsible" for publicity around the proceedings and warned that if harm came to the children, "it will largely be the result of the mother’s own decisions and actions".[9]
Legal commentary described the litigation as a significant test of transparency in family law.[10]
Public disputes
Goodman has claimed she was subjected to bullying linked to publicity surrounding the case, but legal commentators have in turn described her behaviour towards Kilner and Walker as bullying and harassment.[11]
