“From Bullock Cart to Airplane” is a phrase associated with a viral social media video shared by Rajasthan-based digital content creator Lavesh Gurjar documenting his mother’s first experience of air travel. In the video, recorded aboard an IndiGo flight, Gurjar’s mother is seen seated by a window while he observes the moment emotionally. Controversy: Broken Road Protest & Threats
July 2025 after a satirical video posted by Rajasthan-based social media influencer Lavesh Gurjar from Baran district went viral on Instagram. The video, shared on 5 July 2025, highlighted delays in the construction of a bridge and ongoing waterlogging issues on local roads, and received over one million views within two days. In the caption, Gurjar criticized successive governments, alleged corruption, and called upon the Chief Minister and the sitting (MLA) to resolve the issue, stating that public representatives should take responsibility for persistent civic problems. Following the video’s widespread circulation, Gurjar claimed that he received threats and faced pressure to delete the content, alleging the possibility of administrative action against him. The incident drew significant attention on social media, where many users expressed support for Gurjar and described the episode as related to public accountability and freedom of expression.[4]
