Lawson Bader is the current President and CEO of both Donors Trust and Donors Capital Fund. Formerly, Lawson Bader was president and CEO of the Competitive Enterprise Institute[1] and Vice President at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University.[2] He serves on the boards of the Forbes Nonprofit Council, Atlas Network, State Policy Network, Oakseed Ministries International, and formerly Solers, Inc.[3]

Biography

Lawson Bader began his career in Washington, D.C., as special assistant to the U.S. Senate Committee on Veterans Affairs, then worked as a legislative analyst with Pierson, Semmes & Finley, and managed government relations at SRI International. He is also a former weekly columnist with Human Events.[citation needed]

Lawson Bader worked at the Mercatus Center for 16 years, until he became President and CEO of the Competitive Enterprise Institute. Then he joined Donors Trust as President and CEO in 2015.[citation needed]

Education

Lawson Bader has a Master's degree in Government from Johns Hopkins University and a B.A. in Political Science from Wheaton College[disambiguation needed].[citation needed]
