Lawson Gow
Lawson Gow is an American entrepreneur and author. He is the founder and CEO of The Cannon, a $70 million, 17-acre entrepreneurial hub[1] in Houston's emerging startup district. [2]
Gow attended St. John's School in Houston, Texas[3]. He subsequently studied at Williams College and Rice University. Lawson's first book, Silly Shoes: Poems to Make You Smile[4], was published by Bright Sky Press in 2014. His second book, H is for Howdy: And Other Lone Star Letters[5], was published in 2016.
Gow joined KPMG U.S. as an investment analyst in 2013. He left KPMG in 2017 to start The Cannon. As CEO of The Cannon, Lawson is passionate about coworking[6] and he plays an active role in Houston's growing technology startup community.[7]
