Lazurit is a Russian furniture company, manufacturer and retailer of cabinet furniture and upholstered furniture, the second largest furniture retail chain in Russia[1]. Lazurit is a six-time winner of the “Number One Brand in Russia” award in the category of cabinet furniture based on the results of nationwide voting.[2]
The company was founded by Igor Migushov. Both production and management are situated in Kaliningrad.[3]

1992: founding of the company, launch of cabinet furniture production[4]
1996: opening of the first furniture store in Kaliningrad
2002: nationwide wholesale deliveries of furniture
2004: start of retail trade development[5]
2005: Grand Prix in the category of best product design at the “Mebel-2005” (eng. Furniture-2005) exhibition held by Industrial Artistic and Technical Council
2006: withdrawal from dealer sales in favor of own retail development
2007: getting listed among top ten leading manufacturers and distributers of furniture in Russia according to the RBC (informational agency RosBusinessConsulting).
2010: opening of 500th furniture showroom; reciving award for best modern modular furniture line of 2010 at The High Point Market – US-based furniture trade show.
2011: being granted “Number One Brand in Russia” award in the category of cabinet furniture for the first time[6]
2013: launch of an online store; getting listed among top five most dynamic furniture companies according to the Russian magazine «Furniture Expert».
2017: upgrading of production; launch of kitchen furniture line; being granted the highest category of sustainability (А+) by the Russian sustainability ranking GudVud.[7]

Business operations and Finances[edit]
As of 2023 Lazurit holds leading position in Russia as the biggest furniture retailer – more than 560 stores are situated in 170 Russian cities with a total area of 120 000 square meters.
The average area of a single store is 212 square meters. In stores furniture collections are displayed as finalized interior design solutions. The company processes more than 50 000 orders per month.[9]
Production resources are situated on the total area of 80 000 square meters and include manufacturing facilities for home and office furniture, decorative panels, specialized materials, lighting engineering, glass products and packaging as well as manufacturing facility for customized kitchens.
Floor space of warehouse facilities makes up more than 110 000 square meters.
Number of employees amounts to more than 7 000 people.

Lazurit’s product line includes (but not limited to) cabinet furniture: for bedrooms, living rooms, hallways, nurseries and wardrobes. The company incorporates various showroom formats: upholstered furniture stores, showrooms “Everything for Bedtime”, kitchen and appliances studios. Lazurit also sells dinner tables and chairs.

Charity[edit]
Lazurit stays a regular sponsor of the charity center “Believe in Miracles”[11] — an NGO that supports children in need. Lazurit also provides targeted assistance and implements socially relevant projects.[12]
