Le Soleil is a free French-language weekly tabloid newspaper based in Châteauguay, Quebec, Canada (not to be confused with Le Soleil, another newspaper based in Quebec City).[1]. The newspaper is distributed online and at 100 drop-off points in the cities of Châteauguay, Mercier, Léry, Beauharnois, as well as smaller municipalities in Montreal's South Shore area[2]. Le Soleil is owned by Gravité Média.
Le Soleil covers local news, including politics, urban development, culture, crime, and other topics.
Gravité Média also owns Le Soleil's sister publications, Le Courrier du Sud, La Relève, Le Reflet and Le Journal Saint-François[3]
