Lee Chan (Korean 이찬; born February 11th, 1999), better known by his stage name Dino, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and entertainer under Pledis Entertainment. He is a member of the South Korean group Seventeen.

Early Life[edit]

Lee Chan was born and raised in Iksan, South Korea along with his younger brother. He has appeared on several shows before his debut in Seventeen, including Today and Star Audition: The Great Birth 2.

Career[edit]

Lee Chan debuted under the group Seventeen managed by Pledis Entertainment on May 26, 2015. He is the youngest member of the group and is a part of the performance unit, along with members Wen Junhui , Xu Minghao (better known as his stage name The8), and Kwon Soonyoung (better known as his stage name Hoshi).[1]

Seventeen debuted with their first extended play entitled 17 Carat with the title track "아낀다" (Adore U).[2] Seventeen currently has three full-length albums, nine Korean mini albums, two Japanese mini albums, three Japanese single albums, two special albums, and have participated in a several OSTs for Korean dramas such as A-Teen and Hospital Playlist.[3]

Seventeen are best known for being "self producing idols". Many of the members have credits in both the song writing and composing of their discography, as well as making the choreography.[1]

Lee Chan started posting self-choreographed videos in 2018 under the title "Danceology", which currently has ten posted videos on YouTube.[4]

Lee Chan (Dino 디노) became a brand ambassador for Bioderma Korea on February 24, 2022.[5]
