Lee Levi
Lee Levi (born 23 December 1992) is a Danish/Israeli actor and model[1].
She is known for her appearance in Israeli TV series Sangre Negra (2017-2020) and Asfur (2011), as well as reality shows Goalstar (2019), HaMesima: Amazonas (2016) and Knockout (2015). Her first feature film, American Night[2], an American production starring Jonathan Rhys Myers, Paz Vega, Emile Hirsch, Michael Madsen and Jeremy Piven, in which she plays Ashley, the lead character's girlfriend, is currently in post-production.[1]
Early Life[edit]
Born to Israeli and Danish parents in Rømø, a small island of just 700 inhabitants in Denmark's Wadden Sea[3], Levi left home for boarding school at age 13. There, she developed a love for dancing[3] and live performing, which led to her enrolment at Cambridge College and cemented her focus on acting.
Aged 18, Levi moved to Los Angeles to continue honing her craft. At the American Academy of Performing Arts, she had the opportunity to learn from leading acting teachers, before finishing her studies at the world-renowned Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute. [3]
Career[edit]
From 2014-2019, Levi returned to Tel Aviv to reconnect with her extended family. A turning point in her career, the move to Israel saw her profile grow, and Lee earned a reputation as an actress. Levi has appeared in Israeli TV series Sangre Negra (2017-2020) and Asfur (2011), as well as reality shows Goalstar (2019), HaMesima: Amazonas (2016) and Knockout (2015). She was a finalist on Ha:Mesima: Amazonas in 2015.
Her first feature film, American Night, directed by Alessio Jim De La Valle, is currently in post-production.[4]
Her side career as a model has included brand partnerships[5] with TOUS[6], Chopard[7][8], Chanel, Gucci, Givenchy, Kenzo, Clinique, Veuve Cliquot and Liz Martinez.[9]
Personal Life[edit]
In 2019 Lee joined her partner, entrepreneur Eitan Neishlos, to whom she is engaged[10], in starting new ventures in Australia. Their upcoming production company, 18 Reflections, will focus on a vast remit of historical, political and reality projects focused on real-life events and inspirational storytelling.
