Lee Monteverde
Lee Monteverde (born 6 April 1969) is a British record producer/remixer/mix/mastering engineer/DJ/ songwriter and artist based in Manchester, England. Although Lee specialises in the Electronic dance music genre (EDM), since 1986, Lee has worked with many recording artists and production outfits including Simply Red, Erasure, Jamelia, Rozalla, Liz Maclarnon, The Mock Turtles, Mike Harding, Loveland, Lucid, Flip N Fill, Bottom Dollar, Sasha, The Development Corporation, Dancin Divas, T-empo, DJ Ironic, Lasgo, Therese, 808 State, A Guy Called Gerald, Alison Limerick, Tina Cousins, Diane Charlemagne, The Pogues, Boy George, Frank Ifield, Cleopatra, Jimmy Somerville and Dannii Minogue. He has produced, mixed, remixed and/or engineered over 50 UK top 40 singles many of which were top 10 and his most successful project to date was producing (and fronting/performing) a UK number 1 single and worldwide hit- "Take Me to the Clouds Above" by LMC[1] vs U2 in 2004.This track was also nominated at the 2004 Brit Awards for 'Best Single'. Lee also specialises in authentic music sample recreations,many of which can be heard on his productions. Lee uses 'Avid ProTools HD' as his main studio DAW from productions and mastering but also programs using 'Logic Audio' and 'Ableton Live' for some of his EDM productions. He is also a keen user of Analogue studio equipment (Studio mastering outboard and Synthesizers) and continues to use this equipment running parallel with Apple Mac computers. Currently Lee works very closely with 'All Around The World/Universal Records' and 'GreenMountain Productions'. He quite often releases tracks with various collaborators using aliases including LMC, Verde, Amoura, Klassify, Tokyo, WiFi, Pascal, Kalimna, Koko, MadHatters, EyeOpener, Hackit, GreenMountain, Diablo, Soul Rebel, and Marco J.
