Leigh Milner (born 7 July 1989 in Wakefield, West Yorkshire) is a TV reporter and presenter currently working for BBC Look East and BBC News Channel.

Milner studied journalism at the University of Lincoln.[1]

Career[edit]

Radio[edit]

Milner started her career at BBC Radio Lincolnshire as a Broadcast Assistant.

She became the breakfast show reporter in 2013.[2]

Milner also presented on the station, covering the Saturday Mid-morning show and a number of special programmes.[3]

She also worked at BBC Radio Humberside as a sports journalist and BBC Radio Manchester as a broadcast journalist.

TV[edit]

After a short placement at BBC Look North (North East and Cumbria) Milner began working as a reporter and presenter at BBC Look East in Norwich in 2015.

In 2017 Milner won RTS East's Best New Talent award.[4]

On 21st November 2017 Milner presented the main 18:30 programme for BBC Look East (West).[5]

In 2018 Milner became the Essex Reporter for BBC Look East[6], as well as presenting the breakfast, lunch and late bulletins.

She regularly appears on the BBC News Channel and BBC World Service as a correspondent.
