Lek Pervizi

Lek Pervizi (born 4 March 1929, Skuraj) is an Albanian painter, writer and poet.[1][2]

Born to a Catholic family, he was persecuted by the communist government of Enver Hoxha and served some 40 years in prisons and/or internment camps. In newfound freedom in Belgium in 1990, he re-dedicated himself to his artistic and literary work.[3][4][5]
