Lena Paul (born October 12, 1993) is an American pornographic actress. Paul began her career in the adult entertainment industry as a webcam model. She attracted mainstream attention in 2017 after winning the title for "Hottest Newcomer" at the 35th AVN Awards.[4]
Early life[edit]
Lena Paul was born in DeLand, Florida and raised in Georgia. She was home schooled growing up and graduated early from high school. She was enrolled in Latin American studies at University of Louisville where she finished her first year. She identifies as bisexual.[5]
Career[edit]
Before she started doing porn, Paul worked alongside several startups that focused on sustainable agriculture. One such initiative was based in Central America where she engaged in negotiations between the local government and individual investors.[5][2] As part of her work, she made frequent international trips which introduced strain on her personal finances. Hence, she began to webcam from her hotel rooms to have capital to pay her workers.[3][6] The company eventually went under but talent scouts for mainstream porn took notice of her by then.[7][8][9]
