Lenny Emson
Lenny Emson (Ukrainian: Ленні Емсон, born 24 October 1975) is a Ukrainian and international activist for LGBTQ rights and a champion of human rights[1]. Within the 20-year-long career of LGBTQ rights advocacy and human rights struggle, Lenny has been involved in the LGBTQI movement as an activist, employee and a founding member of a number of LGBTQ nonprofits, festivals, events, and initiatives in Ukraine and abroad. Today, Lenny
represents the biggest LGBTI pride organization in Ukraine, KyivPride NGO as an Executive Director and
an activist[1][2][3].
Education
Lenny Emson holds a Master's degree in Public Relations with a specialization in Communications, Management, Marketing, Economics from Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts.[4]
Lenny Emson obtained additional degrees of Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) with the associate degree of Master of Sports in Kettlebell Lifting from the highly prestigious Bogomolets National Medical University, Kyiv, Ukraine in 1995–2006.[4]
Lenny Emson has successfully completed the prestigious Human Rights Advocates Program (HRAP) from Columbia University, New York City, USA, in 2017.[4]
