Lenovo K3 Note is an affordable mid-range smartphone launched in March 2015 by Lenovo Group Limited.It features a 5.5 inches FHD IPS display and it's powered by 1.7 GHz 8-core (Cortex-A53) Mediatek MT6752 64-bit processor along with 2GB RAM and 16GB of storage with µSD card support up to 32GB. The K3 Note differ from the Lenovo A7000 with a sharper 5.5-inch Full HD (1080p) IPS display.It has a 13 Megapixel rear camera with dual LED (dual tone) flash and 5 Megapixel front camera.K3 Note runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) OS, which can be upgraded to Marshmallow 6.0.The dual SIM slots supports both 3G and 4G.2900 mAh battery gives it an awesome battery backup and its replaceable.[1]
Design and Display[edit]
K3 Note have a stylish plastic finish body and its a slim model weighing only 140gms.It has a thickness of just 8mm.The physical buttons and are placed in the right panel.Camera sensors are placed in the top left corner and with dual LED flash.Simplistic design and finish is the highlight of this device. The device is powered by a 1080p FHD display along with the IPS panel making its display gorgeous.The pixel density is 480 ppi.5 fingers multitouch and 16 Million colour's are supported by it.[2]

The on-board storage is 16GB which can further be extended up to 32GB via a microSD card.2GB of RAM keeps the device function's smoother.The sound system is powered by Dolby Atmos, creating an amazing headphone experience with multidimensional sounds and also a noice canceling microphone is placed in the back panel.WLAN standards supports b/g/n with Wi-fi hotspot function.USB 2.0 is used in the device with OTG function.GPS comes with A-GPS and GLONASS.4G LTE is supported by the dual sim slots and Micro sim is used in both slots.The device also supports various sensors like accelerometer, Compass, Gravity sensor, and Light sensor.[3]

K3 Note operates on Android 5.0 Lollipop with Vibe as user interface UI.Recently lenovo has given the 6.0 Marshmallow upgrade to K3 Note in March, 2016.The new upgrade includes features like clear motion video technology, VR mode and better memory management and permission controls. Besides, Java is supportable via a java MIDP emulator.
Camera & Video[edit]
K3 has brilliant camera sensors to capture bright and enhanced photos.The rear camera has a 13 MP resolution with maximum aperture of 2.0 and front camera is 5 MP with 2.4 aperture.Camera features includes Geo tagging, touch focus, triaxial leveling, face beauty mode, HDR etc.Video can be recorded at 1080p, 720p, and 480p resloutions at 30fps.Both the camera's supports 1080p recording feature.
CPU and GPU[edit]
Mediatek MT6752 is the SOC used. ARM-Mali T760MP2 GPU enhances its graphics quality and performance.Processor speed is clocked at 1.7 GHz (8-core) makes high quality games and videos run smoother.The benchmark results could prove this. Heating problem is always being a serious issue for K3 Note users because of its high capacity battery and CPU.The company claims that this issue is solved in the new Marshmallow upgrade.
Critical Receptions[edit]
K3 Note received positive feedbacks and responses upon its release.It was launched as a Flipkart exclusive product.Almost 50,000 units were sold out within just 10 seconds and 5,00,000 units within two months making it a successful mid range smartphone of all times.Its successor, K4 Note too was a big success in the smartphone market.[4]
