Leo John Wolf (born 16 May 2001) was born in Port Elizabeth and attended Grey High School and is a amateur rugby union player who currently plays for the Federal Republic of Germany, The Black Eagles and SC Frankfurt 1880 in the German 1st XV Bundesliga. His usual position is either centre or Fly-half.

Club career[edit]
After completing school in December 2019 the Leo and his brother Daniel Wolf moved to Donnybrook Dublin Ireland, where they had a successful half season playing for Old Wesley Under 20s XV in the JP FANAGAN (U20) - PREMIER 1 league.
Leo was in the inside centre (12) position and the goal kicker, after the season he was nominated for Player Player of Season ( https://vimeo.com/422092525?autoplay=1 ).
In August 2020 Leo joined the top German Bundesliga team, SC Frankfurt 1880, although Covid-19 had an impact on the 20/21 rugby season, this was the break Leo needed as with a reduced team he was able to play match time and prove his skill. Leo not only excelled in the 15’s game but also represented the SC Frankfurt 1880 7’s team in the German 2021, 7’s Championship, held in Heidelberg in June and was selected The Player of the Tournament.
International career[edit]
In October 2021, at the age of 20 years, Leo John Wolf, has been selected and played his first game for Federal Republic of Germany, The Black Eagles, at the Rugby Academy Stadium in Siauliai, Lithuania.[1] In a 2021–22 Rugby Europe Trophy Match between Germany and Lithuania. Leo, received his call up to the team on Thursday and joined the team at Olympic Training center in Heidelberg before flying out to Lithuania. He was selected inside centre (12) and played the entire game with a strong defensive and attacking game.
