Leonid Zigmondovich Tell— (Russian: Леони́д Зигмо́ндович Тéль 1946, Zhana-Arka village, Karaganda region, Kazakhstan) - Academician of the Academy of medical Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Academician Of the Academy of preventive medicine of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Member of the new York Academy of Sciences, Founder and Honorary President Of the Academy "Valeology" of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Founder and Chairman of the editorial Board of the international journal "Valeology-Health, Disease, Recovery" (Nur-Sultan), doctor of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Biography

Birth and early years

Born in Kazakhstan, in the village of Zhana-Arka, Karaganda region in 1942. In 1965, he graduated with honors from the Karaganda medical Institute.

Emergence

Since 1965, he has been working at the Akmola medical Institute. From 1965 to 1967, he was a trainee researcher at three research institutions (Tselinograd, Karaganda, Novosibirsk). In 1966, he defended his PhD thesis in Novosibirsk. Since 1968, he has been active in scientific, medical and teaching activities: senior emergency doctor, associate Professor of the Department of pathophysiology, head of the Department of physiology, head of the course of clinical pathophysiology. In 1983, in Moscow, he defended his doctoral dissertation.

Present time

Professor of the Department of preventive medicine. He is accredited in the us laboratories where his inventions are used. He has trained 28 candidates and 5 doctors of medical Sciences.

Achievements

He was an Editor and Deputy editor of more than 50 Institute collections: "Terminal and extreme conditions" and "Physiology and pathology of the respiratory system".

His textbooks: "Human physiology", "Lectures on pathological physiology", "Physiology and General mechanisms of diseases"; books: "Central nervous mechanisms of pulmonary edema", "Physiology, pathophysiology and therapy of aging", "the Doctrine of health, disease and recovery"; and inventions used in the near and far abroad, and translated into English, Hungarian, Czech, French, Slovak, and other languages. The Department of pathophysiology of the Medical Academy of Nur-Sultan and laboratories in the United States: Brain and Lungs-North Eastern University, EDA-Education-Development-Advance - George Washington University Medical Center, Lung edema - Albany Med. College, etc. has been successfully working for many years using the methods proposed by him and his student S. P. Lysenkov for reproducing clinical death and post-resuscitation disease and evaluating the post-resuscitation state of animals, and methods for reproducing centrogenic pulmonary edema.
