Leopards Courier Services is a courier and logistics management company in Pakistan. It was founded in 1983 by Mian Jehangir Shahid who was born on July 15th, 1947 in Lahore.
The company also operates a gifting service by the name of Giftwifts by Leopards.
History[edit]
Leopards Courier Services was founded by Mian Jehangir Shahid. After moving to Karachi in 1970, Mian Jehangir Shahid worked on various business ventures. However, after the recession hit the country in the 1970s, businesses in Pakistan were greatly affected and he could no longer afford to spend money on expensive advertisement campaigns. He then entering the manufacturing industry, where he was surprised by the lack of correspondence between businesses due to the lack of a secure and systemized courier or postal service. This sparked an idea to create his own courier and logistics company.
Operations[edit]
Leopards Courier Services initially started its journey from 5 destinations and now maintains in thousands of locations across Pakistan and worldwide along with delivery vehicles, couriers who are knows as Leopards and a Boing 737-300 cargo aircraft. Leopards Courier Services maintains a business partnership with DHL and ecommerce store Daraz [1] [2] [3] which was acquired by Alibaba. Leopards Courier Services own various warehouses in Pakistan which are used for warehousing [4] and efulfillment.
GiftWifts by Leopards[edit]
GiftWifts by Leopards is an online gifting service launched by Leopards Courier Services to provide gifting services throughout Pakistan and internationally.[5]
Leopards Stories[edit]
Leopards Stories is Pakistan’s first-ever Courier Industry based Professionals Digital Reality Show in the form of Visual storytelling.[6]
