August Ludwig Leopold von Schlözer (6 February 1859 – 21 April 1946) was a Prussian army officer, historian, translator and publisher.

Education and family[edit]
Schlözer was born in Settin, the youngest son of Nestor von Schlözer and his wife Baroness Luise von Meyern-Hohenberg. His brother the Prussian diplomat Karl von Schlözer. On application by their father, the brothers were released from their Russian subject status in 1873.
