Lerato Moroe

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Born on the 14th of March 1990, in Pretoria, and relocated to Bedworth Park (Vaal) at the ageof 10. She is the CEO and Co-Founder of Rising Generation Foundation NPC, Director of Nkanyiso Process Solutions Pty(Ltd) and currently works at IPR-GDF-Suez as a Plant Chemist. She holds a Business Management Certificate from Cti Education Group, and is working on her BSC in Chemistry & Statistics at Unisa.

In her personal capacity, Lerato is involved in a number of activities with the youth, and her passion for education, sustainable development and the creation of youth employment is whatdrives her on daily basis. She is an exceptional youth and an example to what sister power means. She is a young lady that takes responsibility of her tomorrow and doesn’t allow current circumstances to determine her tomorrow. Lerato is a youth that contributes to a brighter tomorrow by being a catalyst of change and by challenging the status quo. One who attempts to address the issues her country is facing; one who doesn’t settle for mediocre; one who is an example to the younger generation; and definitely one who is an example of whatthe youth of 1976 died for.

Lerato is also no stranger to television as she continues to be featured on different shows e.g. Youth and Women talks – she was recently seen on Mbokodo and Sistas on Soweto TV. She is the face of Life’s Good Movement, One Young World Summit RSA Candidate (2014) and Project Planner for Building Bridges South Africa (2015), a campaign by UN Women New York.

Through her NPO, Rising Generation Foundation (RGF) which was founded in 2011, she hassuccessfully hosted Academic Seminars as well as Entrepreneurial Seminars. RGF aims to achieve its objectives through the establishment of mentoring programs; hosting of educational workshops and seminars; organising of social issue awareness campaigns such ascharity campaigns and sustainability projects; and becoming involved in other youth development movements. The above-mentioned is implemented through RGF’s two main divisions, namely:

1. Unleashing your Full Potential Drive: An educational drive focusing on the awakening of the unrealized ability of the youth and having programs for middle and high school youth in the Sedibeng district, and the nation as a whole in future. 2. Lend a hand Drive: A social sustainability drive aiming at giving back to the community and equipping the youth with skills to better their lives.

This organisation is a non-profit organization, meaning all events and the services offered aresolely for the benefit of the community. The NPO currently doesn’t have sponsors nor have any funds available hence whoever sponsors RGF in any form will be helping the youth to become catalysts to change and simultaneously help the organization to make a success of their initiatives.

Lerato continues to try and make the world a better place and is definitely one youth to be taken notice of.
