Lester Hechavarria (born 25 March 1995) better known as Lester MC is a Cuban entrepreneur, musician, executive producer, and graphic designer. He is the founder of the Calientalo group, an umbrella firm that manages Calientalo Media Distribution and Calientalo Media Marketing.[1]
Hechavarria, with his entrepreneurial ventures, wants to build an active community of musicians, producers, songwriters, and music fans who will impact the future of the music industry ecosystem. Under Hechavarria’s leadership, the Calientalo group focuses on providing a global platform for artists to showcase their talent. Hechavarria, himself is also an up-and-coming musical artist, who has gained recognition for his songs High, Vision, and Desolation.
Early life and education[edit]
Hechavarria was born on 25 March 1995. When he was seven years old, his father passed away, and four years later, he moved to the US with his mother. Since very young Hechavarria was inclined towards arts and music and decided to pursue his career in the same direction.
After graduating from the Miami Springs Senior High School, Hechavarria enrolled in the Miami International University of Art & Design but later dropped out of school to embark on his entrepreneurial journey.
Career[edit]
Hechavarria, after dropping out of college, established his own marketing company, leveraging his graphic designing knowledge. He then founded CubanFlow.com[2] in 2012, an exclusive music platform that featured budding artists from around the world along with covering the latest news in the music industry.[3]
By the age of 18, Hechavarria started his music label called "Calientalo Media", which was launched in 2019. Under this label, Hechavarria launched several new up-and-coming music artists and helped them gain traction.[4]
Throughout his career, Hechavarria has worked alongside several prolific people in the music industry, such as Arcangel, Yotuel, J Alvarez, Keko Musik, Rey Chavez, Alex Sensation, Osmani Garcia, Pipe Calderon, El Micha, Gente De Zona, Enrique Iglesias, and many more.
