Lev Kalika is a chiropractor and sports medicine practitioner based in New York City. He is the founder of New York Dynamic Neuromuscular Rehabilitation & Physical Therapy (NYDNRehab), in Midtown Manhattan that focuses on musculoskeletal disorders, movement rehabilitation, and chronic pain management.[1][2][3][4]
Career
Kalika founded NYDNRehab in 2011. The facility uses high-resolution diagnostic ultrasonography, extracorporeal shockwave therapy, and the Computer Assisted Rehabilitation Environment (CAREN),[5] a biomechanical analysis and rehabilitation platform found in research facilities and military rehabilitation centers.[6][7][8][9]
Research and publications
Kalika has co-authored numerous peer-reviewed articles on ultrasound diagnostics, shockwave therapy, and dry needling.[10] His research has been presented at international meetings such as the European Society of Radiology (ESSR) and the International Society for Medical Shockwave Treatment (ISMST).[11]
