Levi Garraway (born 1968 in Ohio) is an oncologist and currently is the Chief Medical Officer at Roche Holdings. [1] He also serves an institute member at the Broad Institute and director of the Joint Center for Cancer Precision Medicine.
Life[edit]
In 1990, he graduated from Harvard University with a AB in Biochemical Sciences. Later, he graduated from Harvard Medical School, Cambridge,MA with a MD and PhD, in 1999.
Garraway completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the Massachusetts General Hospital. In addition, he was Medical Chief Resident in 2003. He completed fellowship training in Medical Oncology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
He works closely with the Prostate Cancer Foundation. He has extensive experience in precision medicine. He is mainly known for being the first to complete a whole genome sequencing study of prostate cancer. [2]
He was elected president of American Society for Clinical Investigation[3]and is on the board of American Association for Cancer Research.[4]

He married to Gisele Garraway, also a graduate of Harvard University.[9]
He has a sister Isla Garraway who is an urologist at UCLA.[10]
