Libby Redman
Libby Salwa Redman is an International singer/songwriter from York, England. She is also the founder of Libberty Arts.[1]
Libby was nominated for Best Female by Premier Gospel for the Premier Gospel Awards[2][3] and was previously nominated for Best UK Act by Pure M for the Pure M Awards in 2015.[4]

Early life and education
Libby began writing songs at the age of 6 and performed one of them for the first time when she was 11 years old.[5]
Libby was home-schooled until the age of 13 when she went to school to study GCSEs following the death of her brother.[6]
As a young teenager, Libby was managing a range of projects at her Father's church, The Ark Church, York where she served as Musical & Creative Director for 10 years.
Libby has a Master’s degree in Community Music from the University of York. Her first degree is in Biblical Studies & Theology. Libby was the first gospel artist in the UK to achieve this combination of degrees.[7]
Libby is an ambassador for Compassion UK.
