Liberation Entertainment, Inc. was an independent private[1] entertainment distribution company, known for acquiring and selling film and television content worldwide, and a former member of AFMA. It was formerly called Liberty International Entertainment, Inc. and started resurrecting under its final name, in November 2005[2]. The company was founded in 1997 and was headquartered in Los Angeles, California.[3]
The majority of the company's film library was sold to Camelot Entertainment, in between 2010 and 2011.[4][5]
The music for the company's former ident, was composed, arranged and performed by veteran organist Dave Siebels, who's also responsible for the background music in the opening of Phenomenon: The Lost Archives, and writing the songs in The Return to Treasure Island.

He began his career in the television studios of Desilu, before founding Holender Corporation where he secured licensing agreements for Viacom, 20th Century Fox, and the Los Angeles Times. In 1971, he became President and chief executive officer of Ziv International. After the sale of Ziv to Lorimar in 1982, where he remained as President and COO until 1985, he formed INI Entertainment Group Inc. in 1986, for the production and international distribution of television and animated programming until 1997, including GLOW: Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling and The Adventures of Candy Claus, as well as the International Family Classics library of Burbank Films Australia films and Return to Treasure Island (which would be later distributed by Liberation), and Burbank's post-1991 movies alongside Whamo Entertainment.[6]
