Life Marwell Dacre (6 October 1896 – 28 April 1972) was a New Zealand cricketer. He played two first-class matches for Auckland, one in each of the 1912–13 and 1913–14 seasons.[1]

He served overseas with the New Zealand Expeditionary Force in the First World War, winning the Military Medal for bravery during an action at Grévillers in August 1918, part of the Second Battle of Bapaume.[2]

His younger brother Ces Dacre had a long career as a first-class cricketer in New Zealand and England. The brothers played soccer together for Auckland, but not cricket: Life's brief first-class career ended a few months before Ces's began.[3][4]
