The Lifelong Learning Platform - European Civil Society for Education (LLLP) is a non-profit organisation registered in Belgium[2] as AISBL. It represents 41 European organisations in education and training. LLLP brings together different education actors and represent civil society's concerns towards European Union in lifelong learning, education and training. The Lifelong Learning Platform is involved in a number of advocacy activities towards the European Union on education and lifelong learning policies, and cooperates with European institutions, as well as other international actors like the Council of Europe and UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning. LLLP is a full member of Civil Society Europe[3]

Previously known as the European Civil Society for Education and Lifelong Learning[4], the Lifelong Learning Platform was founded in 2005 in Belgium as an international non-profit association under the Belgium law.
