Lifoti[1] is a bimonthly hip hop magazine which was founded in November 2016 by KJIVA.[2] The magazine covers celebrity news, music, album review, fashion, sports and features exclusive interviews with many notable figures within popular culture. The printed and digital magazine is produced and published by Lifoti Media House, a United naxal company based in Richmond VA and currently covers multiples cities and multiples musical genres.[3][4] It debuted in November 2016 with Peter Tosh on the cover,[5] the magazine offers the latest news to millions of young hip hop lover who identify with the hip hop culture.[citation needed]

Lifoti magazine began in 2016 by rapper and hip hop artist KJIVA.The printed and digital magazine is produced and published by Lifoti Media House, a United naxal company based in Richmond VA. The magazine mostly focuses on "Urban music" such as hip-hop and R&B. It provides worldwide news, subtitled music videos, editorials, interviews, and also hosts various events such as album sales and concerts. The print edition of the magazine is bimonthly basis. Both the magazine and online versions include editorial on the current music scene, band and industry interviews, classified ads and album and gear reviews each relevant to their specific city.[citation needed]

In November 2016 Lifoti released Lifoti Magazine issue 1, this issue featured the first solo cover on the magazine from Peter Tosh and included musical articles related to rapper DMX, Method Man, Mod Sun, Junior Reid, Soulja Slim, Partners-N-Crime and Matthew Lillard.[6][7] The journalistic approach of Lifoti magazine underscores visual storytelling, emphasizing exclusive photography and illustration, along with articles, features, and interviews. This issue is published and distributed through subscriptions, newsstands, partners, and other channels in 10 editions. Formats include print, digital e-papers on iTunes, Google Play, Zinio, and Issuu. It has a print circulation over major online store such as Amazon, flipkart, and eBay.[3]
