Ligava Ring

The Ligava Ring, or Latvian Seven Day Ring or Latvian Charm Ring, is a piece of jewelry worn by young girls and young unmarried women in Latvia and other Baltic states.

Traditional stories state that women were given these rings seven days before their wedding. Each day a charm was removed until only a wedding band was left.
